Udi Angel is the Chairman and CEO, as well as 50% shareholder, of Ofer Holdings Group and all of its subsidiaries..
Udi joined Ofer’s Shipping Group in 1975, becoming managing director of Ofer in 1980.
In 1999 Udi was personally involved in the take-over of Israel Corporation Ltd. and was appointed chairman of Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd., one of the world’s biggest shipping companies.
Udi served as Chairman of Zim until 2003, and today he is Chairman of Zim’s executive committee and board member of the Israel Corporation Ltd and Zim.
Udi also takes an active role in communal and charitable work.
Udi is a graduate of the University of Haifa, where he studied economics and public accounting. He is the Austrian honorary consul in Haifa and Northern Israel. |
