Shelly Aharonovitch joined the Ofer HiTech team as its Director of Finance in 2007, after serving over 6 years in various financial positions at Whale Communications Ltd., an international Internet security company.
Shelly supported Whale's financial infrastructure and acted as its VP of Finance, till its acquisition by Microsoft Corporation Inc.
During her years with Whale, Shelly was responsible for all aspects of corporate worldwide financial reporting to management and investors, development and implementation of strategic global tax planning, development and supervision over budget control processes and for all high-level administrative and legal corporate issues.
Prior to Whale, Shelly was a senior auditor at Somekh Chaikin, a member of KPMG, for 4 years.
Shelly is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University and a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) from Bar-Ilan University. |
